The Livestock Development Project, PRODEL, is providing assistance for the the organization of the Djouldé Dabbadji Djoda 2019. This event is chaired by the Minister of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries. The objective of the Fair is to promote cattle throughout Cameroon. Apart from Chad, Cameroon is one of the leading suppliers of cattle in the sub-region: 20 million heads.
This breeding dominates rural life in six regions out of 10. The main organizer of this event of the National Confederation of Livestock Producers of Cameroon, CNEBCAM. Innovative pastoral practices, new animal bio-technologies, building of business opportunities, and the consideration of value chains are the sub-themes of the Cattle Fair.
PRODEL has been implementing visibility activities. The Project has also been assigned to foster communication and marketing. Its scope extends to logistics, especially the sponsoring of a round trip for animals (to/from the Cattle Fair location).
