EXPECTATIONS
This sub- component supports the establishment and operation of the Projects Steering and Technical Monitoring Committees (COPIL and GST). It finances:
- the organization of workshops to launch the project at the national and regional levels;
- regular coordination meetings at both national and regional level involving the various stakeholders in the project, including representatives of the relevant departments of MINEPIA, civil society organizations, PO regulatory bodies, research institutes and the private sector ( AB, FI, LSP), involved in livestock value chains and
- the functioning of the sessions of the Steering Committees and the Technical Monitoring Group
PROGRESS
Regarding a firm’s support to PRODEL for strategic and operational planning and human resources management, negotiations have begun with the Institute supérieur de management public (advanced institute of public management) the “Collège de Paris”.
The functioning of the Coordination Units (NPCU and the 3 RCUs) is flawless. The offices of the RCU and NPCU are refurbished and equipped. Coordination meetings are held regularly. Three Technical Monitoring Group meetings were held out of the four scheduled.
